It is spring! Ko te koanga!

Spring is all around us.   We have been growing runner beans in our class and they are growing up very quickly.  We have been writing a recount about Jack and the Beanstalk.  Jack is climbing up the beanstalk in our class.  What will he find at the top of the beanstalk?

Here is some of our writing.

The hare and the tortoise- a fable by Aesop.

We are writing a recount about this famous fable by Aesop.  The message of this fable is to keep on trying and not to give up.  This is our value for this term - Determination.

We made some hare and tortoise puppets and performed the story to our class.
We also did some cool recounts about the story.
