The 25th of April is Anzac Day.

Room 4 have been talking about the importance of Anzac Day in New Zealand and Australia.
We each made a wreath made up of poppies.  On Anzac Day there was a short Anzac service at our school.  Here are some photos of our wreaths and of the service at our school.

K is for kite

We made some kites and went outside to fly them.  Mrs McFarlane's son Kyle and his fiance Victoria from England were there to help us.

J is for jelly

Our letter this week is J j. We mixed up some strawberry jelly and let it set in the fridge. On Friday we ate the wobbly jelly.
Here is a poem about jelly.

Jelly on the plate, jelly on the plate,
Wibble, wobble, wibble ,wobble
Jelly on the plate.

Jelly in my tummy, jelly in my tummy,
wibble, wobble, wibble, wobble
